Carbon County CleanSweep

Thursday, November 17, 2005

Letter to the Editor of the Lehighton Times News:

On Tuesday, Nov. 8, the residents of Carbon County joined much of the rest of the state in denying Russell Nigro a second term in the PA Supreme Court.

The residents of Carbon County, along with the vast majority of Pennsylvanians, are resentful of the erosion of the checks and balances system of government, and they made it clear to the state legislators that we are not forgetting about their unlawful pay raise or the corruption that led to it.

Carbon County CleanSweep is the local chapter of PACleanSweep (http://www.pacleansweep.com/), which is non-partisan effort aimed at removing the corrupt legislators from power and taking back the government in the name of the Pennsylvania Constitution. We urge all residents of Carbon County to join us!

We made a difference on Tuesday, and we will continue to effect change for the benefit of the people, not the government!
